Happy Weekend + See You Soon!

Isn't this photo above just the perfect picture of elegance?
It was one of the shots taken for a Paule Ka campaign, set at The Carlyle Hotel in New York.

As for this weekend, it's the last few days before my big exam week, so I'm cramming in as much study as I can. I won't be posting next week unfortunately, so this is my 'see you soon' post until after then! And once my exams are over, a lot of exciting things are happening. To the blog (perhaps a new blog design & some exciting upcoming projects), and my birthday - yay! So, until then... have a fabulous weekend!

Love Kate xoxo

I can think of only three words to describe this editorial: peaceful, serene and graceful.

And seriously, those prints are to die for.

At the Salon

Let me make this clear. I am hopeless with hair. My hairstyling skills range from a ponytail, hair out, hair clipped back, or a bun. The idea that some girls are able to French plait their own hair and do incredibly tricky plaits, knots and braids etc is seriously beyond me.

If you follow me on Pinterest, you may know of my 'hair inspiration' board, which served as the inspiration behind this post. I want to know..... how do you normally do your hair? Are you as incapable with hair as I am? During the day, I'll tie my hair up in a ponytail, but in the weekends or when I go out, I always have my hair out.

{and below, some gorgeous hair tutorial links....}

{Fabulous hair tutorials....}

- The snail braid challenge

- A classic side ponytail (with a twist - pun intended)

- A crown of braids

 - Sexy bouffant, inspired by Brigitte Bardot

- A wedding inspired side chignon

- Rag roll your hair

- The double knot

Editorial: Street Smart by Tommy Ton

Tommy Ton is the ultimate street style photographer, so it was only natural that he photographed this 'street smart' editorial for Harper's Bazaar Korea. Styled by Joanna Hillman, the editorial brought bright colours and vibrant patterns to the streets, in the form of elegant dresses, clutches and block heels.
